Claremont Hills Wilderness Park

The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is located at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains and the Angeles National Forest. The Park offers a five-mile walking loop and smaller trails. Parking is available at parking lots on Mills Avenue and Mt. Baldy Road.

Towne Avenue Complete Streets Project

Towne Avenue from Foothill Boulevard to Base Line Road has been redesigned to feature bike lanes, pedestrian safety features, landscaping, and new lanes.

Shop local! A portion of the sales tax paid on purchases made in Claremont returns to the community to fund services, parks, and programs.

Hispanic Heritage Month

National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15 to October 15 and celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. During Hispanic Heritage Month, the City of Claremont proudly honors the culture and contributions of Americans with Hispanic roots.
