Theme Contest
Each year the Independence Day Committee invites all Claremont students in grades K-6 to enter their ideas for the theme of the Annual 4th of July Celebration. Each theme submitted must be five words or less and have no more than 36 characters. The student with the winning entry will receive fireworks tickets, a certificate, a special place in the parade, and will lead the flag salute at the Flag Raising Ceremony.
The theme for the 2026 4th of July Celebration is “USA! United We Shine!” submitted by Olivia Haro, a 2nd grade student at Vista del Valle Elementary School.
