Hughes Center Temporary Closure

The Alexander Hughes Community Center is temporarily closed due to an unplanned system issue. A maintenance crew is actively addressing the issue, and we will reopen the community center when the repairs are complete. All scheduled activities, including classes, meetings, and ABC for Me preschool, have been cancelled or relocated through May 2.

Join us for lunch!

Lunch is available for adults age 60+ Monday through Friday on a first-come, first-served basis at two congregate dining sites: the Joslyn Center, where lunch is promptly served at 11:30am, and the Blaisdell Community Center, where lunch is promptly served at noon. Dining Room opens at 10:00 a.m. for both locations. The elderly nutrition program is provided by our partners at the YWCA of San Gabriel Valley: (626) 960-2995.
