If your home will be vacant for at least two months, you may apply for a refuse fees adjustment.
Low-income Sanitation Fees Discount & Utility User Tax Exemption
The City offers a fee discount for qualified low-income households. To receive a fee discount for your Utility User Fee, you must fill out an application and submit qualifying income verification documents. Eligibility is based on criteria set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and in the Claremont Municipal Code.
