Holiday Collection Schedule
HOLIDAY TREE RECYCLING
Live Christmas trees may be put out for pick-up on your regular trash day from January 5 through January 16, 2026. Please remove all decorations and the stand from the tree. Trees over 6 feet need to be cut in half. Residents should place the bare tree at the curb by 6:00 AM on their regular collection day. For more information on holiday tree recycling, please contact the Community Services Department at (909) 399-5431.
Claremont residential refuse/recycling collection program observes the following holidays during the year: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day (Thursday only), and Christmas Day.
Note: If the holiday falls on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, trash collection will not be affected.
In those weeks with a holiday, collection of refuse and recyclables will take place one day later than usual beginning on the holiday through the remainder of the week. All collection schedules will return to normal beginning Monday of the next week.
