Making Change Contest

Each year, the City of Claremont and the Claremont Unified School District host the “Making Change” contest to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other champions of human rights and social justice. The contest provides Claremont students with an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the lasting impact these leaders have made in advancing equality and positive social change.

Winners received a certificate from the City and CUSD, along with a $100 award, at the City’s annual Making Change Contest Awards Ceremony on February 23.
