Electric Vehicle Charging Permit

The City of Claremont adopted an Electric Vehicle Charging Permitting Process Ordinance that streamlines the permitting and approval process for electric charging infrastructure. Please use the EV Charging Checklist(PDF, 251KB)  to ensure you have all the necessary information to apply for a permit. Completed checklists may be email to the Building Department.

 

Southern California Edison - Electrification Project Process Information

Southern California Edison (SCE) regularly works with project applicants with many different types of development projects. SCE wants applicants to follow the SCE planning process and engage with SCE early to ensure projects are completed on schedule and any system upgrades needed are in place. SCE has a guide for potential applicants for contacting SCE and all the tools necessary to work with SCE for a successful project.
