Hughes Center Temporary Closure

The Alexander Hughes Community Center is temporarily closed due to an outage related HVAC system issue that occurred on May 3. We will reopen the center when the repairs are complete. All scheduled activities, including classes and meetings, have been cancelled or relocated. ABC For Me is open. The LA County Ballot Box is open outside the front doors.

Community Based Organization Grants

The Community-Based Organization (CBO) Grant Program was designed to address the social service needs of Claremont residents by supporting nonprofit agencies in developing programs, which meet both new & emerging needs of the community. Grant funding is offered under two programs: General Services and Homeless Services/Critical Need.
