TCCS Student Services Building
The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS) has proposed constructing a new building that would serve students of all the Claremont Colleges, as well as CGU, at the Harvey S. Mudd Quadrangle, located between Honnold Library to the south and Garrison Theater to the north. The proposed building would have a gross floor area of approximately, 38,000-SF, would have three stories, and would reach a maximum height of 70-feet. The building would be located on the western half of the existing quadrangle. The remaining half would be redesigned to create an open space area with seating and outdoor amenities. The new building would house campus affinity groups, spiritual life programming, the student disability resource center as well as shared spaces for all students to gather, socialize and engage. The building features a contemporary architectural design with large windows and a high degree of transparency for student gathering areas, as well as more enclosed offices and spaces for worship.
