Emergency Information - High Winds

On January 7-8, the City experienced moderate damage and suffered power outages due to the extreme Santa Ana wind conditions. City maintenance crews worked to clear 35 downed trees and debris from the roads and sidewalks and responded to two damaged power poles and one streetlight down. Police dispatchers and Community Services staff responded to 140 calls for service. City parks and the Thompson Creek Trail have reopened, but the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is CLOSED due to a new Red Flag Warning. City maintenance crews will continue removing debris until it is all cleared.

To report wind damage like trees down on public property, please use the form below or call (909) 399-5431. For life threatening or dangerous situations, please call 9-1-1.
Reporting storm damage is not filing a claim for reimbursement from the City for damage to private property. If you have damage on private property from a public tree or other City-owned asset, please file a claim here.
