National Anthem Contest
The 2026 Independence Day Committee invites Claremont students to be a part of the 76th Annual 4th of July Celebration by participating in the National Anthem Contest. Auditions will be held on April 15, 2026, at 7:00pm in the Grove Room of the Alexander Hughes Community Center (1700 Danbury Rd). Entrants must be in grades 4-12 and either reside in Claremont or attend a Claremont school. The winner will receive Fireworks Show tickets, a special place in the parade, and will perform the National Anthem at the Fireworks Show and Honoree Recognition. Runners-up may be selected to perform at Concerts in the Park. The deadline to submit an entry in the National Anthem Contest is April 9, 2026.
