National Anthem Contest
Each year, the Independence Day Committee invites Claremont students to be a part of the annual 4th of July Celebration by participating in the National Anthem Contest. Entrants must be in grades 4-12 and either reside in Claremont or attend a Claremont school.
The winner of the 2026 4th of July Celebration National Anthem Contest is Yara Ghahramani, a 9th grade homeschool student from Sage Oaks Charter School. Yara will receive Fireworks Show ticketsa special place in the parade and will perform the National Anthem at the Fireworks Show and Honoree Recognition.
