On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, City Manager Adam Pirrie announced the appointment of Captain Mike Ciszek as the new Police Chief for the City of Claremont. Captain Ciszek will assume the duties of Chief on April 2, 2025, following the retirement of Chief Aaron Fate.
Captain Ciszek will be installed as the Chief of Police at a Badge Ceremony on Thursday, April 17 at 5:00 p.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton in Claremont. The event is open to the public.
