The City’s Citywide Speed Survey Implementation Project is underway. The project includes installing and replacing speed limit signs and pavement markings based on the City’s 2026 Engineering and Traffic Survey. Once the new speed limit signs are installed, they will be covered until enforcement begins. After the project is complete, the Claremont Police Department will begin a 30-day warning period. The City will provide additional notice before enforcement of the new speed limits begins.
