The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is OPEN during normal operating hours.
The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park opened in 1996 with 1,440 acres and was dedicated as a City Nature Park in 1997. The incorporation of Johnson’s Pasture, Gale Ranch, Evey Canyon, and Sycamore Canyon have grown the park to over 2,000 acres with more than 20 miles of trails, including the popular 5-mile “Claremont Loop.” The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is the perfect adventure for hikers, cyclists, and equestrian riders alike. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the San Gabriel Valley, peaceful native landscapes, and seasonal wildflower blooms that make each visit unique. The park provides opportunities for both challenging workouts and quiet escapes into nature, offering something for every outdoor enthusiast. Its diverse terrain and scenic vistas make it one of the region’s most treasured open spaces.
